Staatsloterij - Jackpot - Modeling/ shading

Commercial for the national lottery. They shot a small piece of a maquette (as seen below) and the idea was to extent this physical model. The briefing was to instantly recognize this model as Amsterdam. But when I tried to extent the physical model it became clear that you would only see a small portion of Amsterdam. Therefore we decide to a full cg maquette to show off the canals and other landmarks that help identify Amsterdam. Each block is hand placed to ensure accuracy. I did modeling/ shading/ rendering.
